Stepping forward with a heads up!

Time cruised by, technology advanced, everything changed, but what remained the same were marks of shame around mental health.

People still value physical health over mental health since they feel that it is simply more important. But

what they fail to realize is that the brain, just like any other organ, needs to be

taken care of and in the absence of mental wellbeing, staying physically splendid

is paradoxical.

Psychological illnesses ought not to be thought about uniquely in contrast to

physical ailments. Indeed, I accept the two are indistinguishable. Since the

entire body is associated and entwined, thus the two cannot be isolated. The

mind is an organ very similar to all other parts of the body and can be impaired too.

At the point when the brain is sick, it influences the entire body and the

general health. Substance abuse, self-harm, and suicide are prevalent in those

with mental illnesses.

The stigma and blemishes surrounding mental illness keep such people from getting the help they need to get better and cause them to hide their pain, which is the reason that makes it seem that physical health is more important than mental robustness.

Lack of awareness is amongst the most ubiquitous causes of people not being able to reach out for aid.

Despite living in the modern era, people still feel apprehensive regarding discussing mental health issues. Many do not have a clue about the sources through which they can get help.

Laconically, I would like to say that one’s mental health is neither more nor less

significant than physical health. The two are equally important and must be

regarded. We should never let our struggles over power and define us since

great wellbeing is something that cannot be accomplished without mental

prosperity.

Rainer Maria Rilke has beautifully quoted,

"The only journey is the journey within".

So, never hesitate to seek help if you need to.

Keep in mind, you are not alone, and seeking help would not make you weak. It will only make you

stronger.
